Chris Joslin received his PhD from the University of Geneva, Switzerland. He is a member of the Canadian Advisory Committee for Standards Council Canada, where he advises on matters arising for Canada’s position for the International Standards Organisation (ISO) and also contributed methods on Device Benchmarking to the standard MPEG-21 Digital Item Adaptation (DIA). He has published numerous conference and journal articles in the area of media adaptation, medical preoperative planning, and collaborative virtual reality systems.


Research Areas

His research interests include video compression, reliable video streaming, computer vision, motion capture, 3D medical imaging, and autonomous vehicles.
